This release marks our intention of both API and format stability. We do not plan to significantly alter either after this release, in this major version. We may still add new APIs and fix bugs (which may break accidentally-working code). In rare cases, we may make changes to existing APIs, but we will avoid doing so.
We've also released full documentation for the library along with this release. This documentation will also be improved and contributed to overtime.

We were excited by the flexibility and utility of Metadesk, so we decided to release it, so that others could also make use of it. We hope it's useful for whatever you use it for, and we hope it also provides a (very partial) glimpse of what working with an ergonomic structured data format could look like.
